Geoff Matthews – Director
Geoff’s early career was spent as the Assistant Government Reception Officer in the Distinguished Visitors Branch of Internal Affairs. He then became the Personal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt Honourable James Bolger; a position he held for ten years.
After leaving politics Geoff returned to university completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing at the International School of Business, Victoria University, while embarking on a successful career in advertising and public relations.
Carryn McAtamney – Director
In early 2005, Carryn joined the BrandCom team. Having graduated from Otago University with a BCom majoring in Marketing Management and a BA majoring in Psychology in 2001, Carryn returned to Otago after travelling and working overseas. Geoff convinced her to move to Queenstown to work for BrandCom. A skilled Account Manager, Carryn’s creative flair and natural writing talent makes her an invaluable asset to BrandCom. Throughout the past five years, Carryn has contributed enormously to the growth of BrandCom and in 2009 was made a Director of the company. Her most recent work, among other things, has seen her involvement in the executive team for TaxRefunds.co.nz Ltd.
Rosie Turner – Account Manager
Rosie joined the BrandCom team in early 2008 as an Account Manager on the Mt. Cook Alpine Salmon account and more recently Red Witch Analog Ltd. Her academic background includes a BCom majoring in Marketing and Management and a BA majoring in Communications gained from Otago University. Rosie worked in marketing for market leading, multi-national brands in New Zealand and Australia before relocating to Queenstown to join the more fast-paced consultancy environment.
Lisandra Macres – Marketing Consultant
Lisandra’s academic background includes post-graduate and graduate degrees in Marketing and Business Administration from Brazil and France. Lisandra joined BrandCom in 2004.
She has professional experience of 14 years working with FMCG companies, including vast international experience in the elaboration of strategic marketing plans and solid practice in product management, with strong knowledge of the commercial area and distribution. Her experience includes three years in new product development, from concept to concrete market launching, with media and promotion support. Lisandra works as a consultant for BrandCom adding extra resource and skills to the team.
BrandAid – Designed Communications
BrandAid is a design and brand development company based in Dunedin, New Zealand. By combining both left and right brain thinking they create designed communications that generate an increased target audience response. In doing so they pride themselves on adding value through design to their client’s businesses.
Luke Johnston is the principal designer with over six years experience and a Bachelor of Arts and PGDipCApSc in design. Luke worked at Taylormade Media in Dunedin for four years, the final two as Creative Director of the print based and interactive design departments.

Pedestal Design & Advertising is a boutique design studio based in Queenstown, New Zealand, specialising in logos, branding, promotional material and magazines. Principal designer, Jocelyn Browning, learnt her trade in the newspaper industry, Jocelyn’s skill as a designer won her an advertising award in 2003.
